I’m a native Washingtonian, and can’t imagine living anywhere other than the Pacific Northwest. However, my family and I have also traveled to more than 30 countries—for work, pleasure and mission trips through our congregation.


Connecting with people of many cultures through my travels has made me an even better agent for Allstate customers—a career I began in 1990. I know our team can make a difference in Lynnwood customers’ lives—from providing life insurance after they marry to help safeguard their retirement years through financial products.


Service is important to me in my personal life, too. That’s why I offer financial, marriage and crisis counseling to members of the congregation I attend and volunteer as a patient advocate at nearby St. Anthony’s Hospital, St. Clare Hospital, St. Joseph Medical Center, Tacoma General and Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital.


Finally, a bit of personal trivia: My wife Jodie and I celebrated our 25th anniversary in 2014 at the Great Wall of China—with our daughter, Alexa, along for the trip! Alexa works part-time in our Tacoma agency and is an avid community volunteer. (Son Spencer works in the publishing/audiovisual field in New York.) I've been with Allstate for over 50 years. I only wish an agent would have suggested dropping collision and comprehensive to me since my vehicles were both over 20 years old and would have low value. Every renewal the rates kept going up and up even though both my husband and I have had perfect driving records, low annual driving mileage, no accidents in years and no tickets. I don't want to start over with a new insurance company at my age, so will probably continue with Allstate until I no longer drive.
