We understand how frustrating it can be when a claim does not result in the outcome you were hoping for. In this case, the age of the roof was determined to be the primary source of loss, and age-related wear is not covered under any homeowners insurance policy. Thank you for sharing your feedback Rodney and I'm sorry that our agency didn't meet you expectations. We always strive to balance our meet our customers' needs and meet our professional and ethical standards. We document every conversation with our customers and when shared the conversations with you when I personally met with you. On November 21, we received partial payment for one of your vehicles because your intention was to gift the vehicle in approximately 3 weeks and you would notify us when that transfer took place and you would purchase a new vehicle upon your return from out of the country in a couple of months. My agent explained that when the vehicle is removed, the multi-car discount will be removed but then re-added when your new vehicle is added. We reached out to you Jan. 28th and Feb. 4th via email because we had not received notice of the vehicle transfer and a balance was due. There was no response and I called you on Feb. 5th to remind you that there is a balance due and that we didn't receive notice about selling the vehicle. You explained that you would return on the following Monday and will get things figured out. On Feb. 10, you came into our office to remove the vehicle and said that you decided to leave it in the other country instead of gifting it. I explained the change in premium, the balance due for that vehicle from November to February and explained that when you add the new vehicle you will have partial credit and the balance will be pro-rated. On February 19th, you came in to add the new vehicel, I provided a quote, and the balance due. However, you were in disagreement with the balance and alleged that we were charging the full six months and didn't give you a credit. I printed out the premium summary and pointed out that the balance was less than the 6th month premium; however, your decision was to pay, accuse us of over charging, and leaving the office.
