My family and I have lived in Charlotte since 2015 and I was proud to have opened the doors to my Matthews agency in November 2020. As a father of three children, I welcome the opportunity to meet and assist other families in and around Charlotte with their unique insurance needs. There’s so much to love about Charlotte and I’m excited for the opportunity to help others with their auto, home, business, renters, boat and other insurance needs.

I believe in the importance of giving back to our community. This is why I am proud to volunteer with or show my support for Samaritan’s Purse, Paralyzed Veterans of America, USO, Goodwill, The Salvation Army, and Tunnel to Towers Foundation. In my spare time, I enjoy boating on Lake Norman, reading historical books, cooking, traveling with my family, and making memories with friends. I am also a proud graduate of Johnson & Wales University, Providence, Rhode Island campus, where I received my bachelor’s degree in Financial Services Management. Fun fact, I was born in New Jersey and have lived in various parts of the United States.

Regarding the handling of my recent Homeowners Insurance policy and its subsequent cancellation due to errors made by one of your agents, Ashley.
When shopping for insurance, your agency provided the best rate, and I chose to move forward and make a full year's payment. However, Ashley failed to inform me that the underwriter required photos of my home. The first notification I received about this requirement was a letter of cancellation from the underwriter for lack of pictures.
Upon receiving that letter, I immediately contacted Ashley. She confirmed the requirement, and I sent the photos within minutes, receiving an acknowledgment of receipt from her.
Weeks later, I discovered that the underwriter had officially canceled my Homeowners Insurance policy. When I called Ashley to find out why, she informed me that the underwriter had rejected the photos because they were blurry and unclear. When I asked her why she did not notify me of this issue immediately so that I could provide clearer photos or hire a professional photographer, she had no answer.
Homeowners Insurance is paramount to me, and my policy has now been cancelled due to a severe lack of communication and oversight
