Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, I understand the unique needs of the Hyde Park community. Home to the Museum of Science and Industry, the picturesque lakefront and the University of Chicago, Hyde Park is a diverse community that I care about passionately. As someone who cares deeply about Hyde Park, I am committed to supporting the community. I grew up on the South Side, attending Saint Felicitas Parish and Mendel Catholic High School.
You might say my work with our Allstate agency is all in the family: I began working in the insurance industry in 1998 and joined my parents’ Allstate agency in 2016. My dad opened this agency here in Hyde Park in 2003 and quickly became a prominent figure in the neighborhood. Today, friends and customers walk in and help themselves to coffee before discussing their insurance policies with me or one of our experienced licensed agents. Now that my father has passed, my mother, Bobbie, and I take turns sitting in my father’s special chair. It is an honor to sit in a spot that was occupied by such a respected man, father, friend and business person.
When I’m not working, I relish time with my beloved wife, Yvonne, and our two daughters, Maya and Mattie. My oldest daughter attends Fordham University in Manhattan, and my youngest daughter is in high school. My weekends are filled with orchestra rehearsals and performances for my daughter Mattie who plays oboe in her high school band at Plainfield East High School. She is also a member of the Metropolitan Youth Symphony Orchestra, and the Chicago Youth Symphony Concert Orchestra. My Family and I are proud members of DuPage AME Church in Lisle, IL.
