Tom loves representing Allstate because of the wide variety of products and services.
More than insurance, he can help with many options to address your financial needs,
such as saving for a child’s education or preparing for your retirement. He’s committed to
helping you protect what you have today and financially prepare for tomorrow. Tom
understands the importance of the “big picture” when looking at to your financial future
as well as the current impact of doing that. From retirement to life insurance, he’s
committed to helping you reach your financial goals and protect your family.
Tom spent the majority of his life in Colorado, he was born in Grand Forks, ND and grew
up in Pueblo, CO. He attended the University of Denver (DU ’88) and founded
numerous businesses in the area before deciding on a career in the Financial Services
industry. Asked why he chose Financial Services, Tom said, “This carrier path allowed
me to put my family first and have flexibility in raising my two boys with my wife, Jill.
While the paperwork required evenings and some weekends on occasion, I was able to
attend every event my boys participated in while growing up, from class plays, field
days, cub scout meetings, award assemblies and everyone of their numerous sports
events. Not many folks I know can say they never missed one of their kids events. Now
both boys are attending colleges here in the Denver area and I feel blessed to have
been able to spend as much time with them as I did.” Tom received the award he’s most
proud of, one of the American Diabetes Associations Father of the Year winners in 2007
after his oldest son, a type one diabetic, wrote an award winning essay about his dad.
Oh, and boy is Tom a die hard Denver Broncos fan. He likes to say that he is the driver
of the fan bandwagon and there is always room on the bandwagon for the folks that fall
off the fan train. During the NFL season, Tom will likely be wearing a Denver Broncos
jersey under his sport coat when he meets with you on a Friday or any Bronco game
day. The Denver Broncos will likely come up when you meet with him to prepare a
strategy to achieve your financial goals.
Tom played semi-pro football for 4 years, and still remains active in sports today. The
semi-pro football days have long passed but Tom still plays his second favorite sport,
lacrosse, in a Men’s league in Denver and is often flanked on the defensive side of the
field by his two sons.
