Thank you for your feedback—I understand why that would seem confusing.

Standard auto insurance policies don’t rate premiums based directly on a vehicle’s current market value or depreciation. Instead, coverages like collision are based on Actual Cash Value (ACV) at the time of a claim, while pricing is influenced by broader factors such as repair costs, claim trends, parts, labor, and state-specific rating rules.

I’d be happy to take a closer look at your policy with you to make sure everything is set up properly and see if there are any opportunities to adjust your coverage and customize your premium.
