Mike came to insurance from a customer service background, knowing he'd enjoy the work of helping people protect what matters to them. What he values most is the chance to inform customers — whether he's reviewing coverages or guiding someone through a difficult situation or claim. Originally from Fort Wayne, Mike attended Blackhawk Christian from kindergarten through 12th grade before earning a degree in Business-Marketing from Ball State University. He is licensed in both Property & Casualty and Life & Health, and he's at his best when he sees others benefit from his knowledge and help.

Outside of work, Mike is active in his local church, stays busy with his family, loves music, and enjoys diving into all sorts of creative projects at home. Steve's path into insurance was anything but ordinary. After 25 years in the automotive industry, he returned to college at 50 and earned a degree in Insurance and Human Resources — a BS from Ball State University and an associate degree from Ivy Tech. What keeps him in the business is simple: he genuinely enjoys talking with people, and he finds the constant evolution of the industry fascinating to be part of. Licensed in both Life and Property & Casualty, Steve is known for building lasting, generational relationships with the families he serves — often working with children, parents, and grandparents alike.

A lifelong resident of Muncie, Indiana, Steve grew up attending the small county school in Cowan. That deep local connection is part of what he loves most about the work: finding common ground with customers over the people, places, and things that make Indiana home. He and his wife have two grown children and six grandchildren, who are his favorite people to spend time with. Outside of work, Steve is an avid reader and a longtime collector of vinyl records. A fun fact most people don't know: he spent three years working in AM radio after college, and he was a Toastmaster for a decade, even competing in public speaking.
