As a third generation Allstate agent, you could say the insurance business runs through my veins. My grandfather founded our Moline, Illinois, agency in the 1960s to serve the Quad Cities community. My dad joined him in the early 1980s, and I began working with them in 1999 as a support staff employee, working my way up to agent in 2002. I love that we have been able to assist three generations of Quad Cities' families. Today, I continue to conduct business the same way my dad and grandfather did: with respect and excellent service.
My agency, located just down the street from Moline High School, is an active part of the Moline community. We speak English and Spanish fluently to best serve customers as they make decisions that help protect what matters most: their family, home, car and boat. We’re also very involved with the Greater Quad Cities Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
My team spends quality time with customers, reviewing their policies and providing information on a range of products and services. I love working with customers. It's very satisfying to know we're able to help customers in times of need. We know customers’ time is precious. That’s why we installed a drive-up window to help customers pay premiums more conveniently.
When I’m not working, my wife of 15 years and I are very involved in our four sons’ sports activities. I’ve always loved sports, especially local high school football. In fact, for three generations, our agency has sponsored the Derek Newton Player of the Game award. It's just another way I stay connected to the community.
