I opened my second agency in Martinsburg because I have family that live in the community. I wanted to offer the same amazing customer service here, that we do at our agency in Frederick. I went to school at the University of Nebraska Kearney, and live in the community with my wife, Dr. Rebecca Herman-Smith, our son Anthony, daughters Emma and Ella, and our two dogs, Shadow and Misti.

When I’m not in the office, I love to root for my favorite sports teams, the Maryland Terrapins and the Nebraska Cornhuskers football team. I also enjoy watching NASCAR and spending time outdoors with my family camping, snowboarding in the winter and traveling.

The community here is very supportive of small-business owners, and I’m proud to have the opportunity to lend a helping hand. I sponsor and coach the Smithsburg Little Sluggers baseball team and volunteer at the Boys and Girls Club and Habitat for Humanity.

My only complaint would be that I have asked numerous times that I be mailed insurance cards , was assured they would but still waiting for them . Recently I was pulled over and asked for proof . I went into app and the only card was expired .
