Hi, I’m Brenda Harries Peterson here with the Harries Insurance Agency. I was born and raised here in San Diego and even grew up working in this agency when my family owned it before me. Now I’m running the agency and raising my 3 daughters with my husband, Rich. I attended the University of San Diego High School and then went to college at the University of Santa Cruz – home of the one and only Banana Slugs! I personally enjoy hiking, running, and heading down to the beach during my free time. I’ve spent my whole life here so it’s safe to say that I know the area and the insurance business very well.

We’re heavily involved in the community and love giving back. We sponsor a car at the Barona Speedway and recently began sponsoring the Clairemont Hawks youth football and cheer. We also support the Johnathan Sellers & Charlie Keever Foundation as well as SKIP which helps meet the financial and educational challenges of special needs students and families. We’ve been lucky enough to be interviewed with Kyle Whissel with Whissel Realty and another interview about the importance of flood insurance on NBC San Diego. We love giving back to our town and are happy to be featured as the knowledgeable resources for protecting families and their possessions.

I love working with and helping people. We are able to help people in a time when they really need help. Growing up in the business gives me the knowledge and experience to really help get things taken care of. Being California residents, it’s important to keep in mind things like wildfires and earthquakes that commonly affect us. We are also passionate about helping families secure their financial futures by retiring with enough money to live off. Our agency has been around for over 40 years and I’m so proud to continue the legacy.
