Portage is a terrific place to raise a family. I was born and raised in the area and attended Portage Central High School. I currently live in Vicksburg with my wife, Sheri, our sons, Sawyer and Carver, our cat, Marty, and our Dachshund, Ricky. We love living in this community because we feel it is safe, provides great education options and the biking opportunities are endless.
Graduating from Western Michigan University, it is only fitting for me to be such a huge fan of the Western Michigan Broncos football team. In 2016, I attended the Cotton Bowl and had the best time. Besides football, I enjoy tennis and learning about classic airplanes and aviation history at the Kalamazoo Air Museum.
I strive to stay active in the community through charity events and sponsorships. I’ve proudly sponsored the Mattawan High School football and basketball teams, the Vicksburg High School football team and the Portage Central High School football and basketball teams. In addition, my agency has also sponsored the Mattawan Classic Car Show, which is always fun to be a part of.
In 2009, I realized that I liked the idea of working with the public and providing a very valuable service to families in my community, so I became an agent. I specialize in auto, life and home insurance, but my staff and I offer assistance with understanding a variety of coverages for you to choose from. We pride ourselves on being fun, active and friendly here, and we would love to meet you!

Because of my volunteerism, The Allstate Foundation provided a $1,000 Helping Hands grant to support the efforts of Open Doors Kalamazoo for building relationships to overcome homelessness through housing, employment, education, and sobriety.
