He is actively involved in the community as a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lake Charles, Lake Charles Rotary Club, SWLA Chamber of Commerce, and the LSU Alumni Association, and he is passionate about supporting youth and family-focused organizations such as Family and Youth Counseling Agency, the Southwest Louisiana Boy Scouts of America, Iowa High School Athletics, Welsh High School Athletics, and St. Louis High School.
