About Kelly Benbow - Kansas City Allstate Insurance Agent

In 2013, I chose to become an Allstate agent in Kansas City because of my passion for educating and helping others. Prior to becoming an Allstate agent, I was a middle school science teacher. In that career, I learned techniques to successfully inform and educate individuals. I’m happy I’ve been able to combine my two professions, as a teacher and an Allstate agent, to help customers to learn about Allstate’s products.

I have lived in the Kansas City community since 1990 and have always appreciated how much it has offer. The residents are friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. My two daughters and I enjoy attending Kansas City Royals baseball games, Chiefs games and playing with our two dogs, Rizzo and Murphy. Additionally, I enjoy going to the gym, running in the woods with my dogs, horseback riding, biking and competing in local races.

Being involved and giving back to the Kansas City community is important to me. I’m proud to support Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City. I have been lucky enough to volunteer on a regular basis with my team, as well as other local Allstate agents, to raise money for the organization. Because of our service we were able to raise $105,000 that went towards updating the clubs’ facilities. I look forward to continuing our support of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City and working with other local nonprofits.

Helping people means everything to me. That includes my staff as well as the customers. We help people through the best and worst times of their lives. I strive so that my staff and the customers are always in Good Hands.

Our team

Kathy

Office Manager
Kathy has been in insurance since 1977 in almost every capacity. She was an agency owner for 20 years. She retired in 2000 and then came back three weeks later to become the operations manager of our agency because she just couldn't stay away. She is our customer service specialist and operations manager. Her level of knowledge and experience is a rare gem. She has seen it all and heard it all. She's here to help.

Brandie Tuckfield

Licensed Sales Professional
Brandie joined the agency in 2018 and likes helping people understand their insurance needs. She brings a smile and a desire to help others to our agency. Her depth of knowledge of Allstate’s products makes her an asset to our team and the customers. Outside the office, Brandie enjoys spending time with her family and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs.

Allstate Disaster Preparedness Kits

From helping communities after a natural disaster strikes to making our roads safer, Allstate is there to lend a helping hand. To support that effort, my agency was happy to provide the Kansas City area with free Allstate Disaster Preparedness kits. The kits included essential items to have in an emergency, such as a first-aid kit, emergency blanket, flashlight, rain poncho and water bottle. You can visit Allstate's online Disaster Help Center for tips to help plan and prepare for a weather-related disaster.

Allstate Foundation Helping Hands Grant for HELP Humane Society

To support our community, HELP Humane Society received a $1,000 Allstate Foundation Helping Hands in the Community grant on behalf of my agency. We have been volunteering with HELP Humane Society since 1999 assisting with fundraising, coordinating volunteers, mobile adoptions and even fostering animals! Giving back to our local community through volunteerism is tremendously rewarding and gives our team a sense of purpose. We believe when we help others our communities are stronger and healthier, which is why we’re proud to support HELP Humane Society’s work.

Allstate Foundation Helping Hands Grant for McCullough Elementary

Developing our future leaders is a passion of ours, and we believe Kansas City’s youngest citizens should have all the available resources to succeed in their education. We’re proud to help a first-grade classroom at McCullough Elementary School receive a $1,000 Allstate Foundation Helping Hands in the Community grant to purchase necessary classroom items including books, flashcards and inspirational classroom décor. We were honored to assist, and we look forward to being a part of other local causes.

Support for Boys and Girls Clubs of Kansas City

Helping people is at the core of what our agency does, which is why we proudly spent time assisting Boys and Girls Clubs of Kansas City. Because of our volunteerism, The Allstate Foundation provided a $26,000 Helping Hands grant to support the efforts of Boys and Girls Clubs of Kansas City to help young people develop the skills necessary to succeed in high school and beyond. Our team recognizes the challenges facing people in Kansas City, and we’re excited to be among many Allstate volunteers across the country caring for their communities by supporting important local causes.

Project Warmth of Kansas City

Join us in supporting Project Warmth of Kansas City. Our agency, along with other local Allstate agencies, will act as a drop-off location for the drive until Nov. 3. Project Warmth is concentrating on coats and blankets, but will gladly accept gloves, mittens, winter hats and scarves. Cash donations will be accepted and used for utility costs throughout the year. Support for Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kansas City

Helping people is at the core of what my agency does, which is why I’m proud to support the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kansas City. Serving as team captain for the 2016 agent group event, The Allstate Foundation provided the organization with an $80,000 Helping Hands in the Community grant to help Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kansas City continue its efforts to strengthen the hearts, minds and bodies of young people in Kansas City. I was excited to be selected as Volunteer of the Year for one of the local clubs by the organization and look forward to many more projects supporting local causes.

Be Prepared for Natural Disasters

Thanks to everyone in the Kansas City community who stopped by to pick up their free Disaster Preparedness Kit in March.
