Meet Tara!

I grew up in Chico, and I graduated from Pleasant Valley High School and graduated from Chico State University, which makes my ties to this community strong. The people of Chico are very welcoming and kind which is why I enjoy living here. Family is important to me. I’m married to my beautiful wife, Kelly, and we have two sons, William and Benjamin. We also have two awesome cats, Whiskers and Katie. I take pride in being an active member of my community. I’ve been a proud sponsor of the Chico Central Little League youth baseball team and the Pleasant Valley Sober Grad Night. I’m also a member of the Chico Sunrise Rotary Club, and past president of Chico Kiwanis.

I became an agent because I wanted to follow in the footsteps of my father, Ken Baker, who owned the agency from 1983 to 2017. Working with him for so many years fostered an idea of creating a working environment that is more like a family than just a group of employees. Our staff treats customers the same way, like family.
