I became an Allstate agent in 2012, joining the Kim Albert Agency, which was started in 2010 when Kim first became an agent. Like Kim, I grew up in North Dakota, and I love everything about the Minot community, from the concerts at the state fair to the many wine, food and art festivals here. There are also so many amazing outdoor activities to enjoy, especially with Lake Sakakawea and the Missouri River so close by.

I’m really fortunate to have Kim as a partner. He has been in the community since 1983 and has a strong circle of family, friends and customers in the area. He and his wife and their now-grown children have become cornerstones in this community, and our agency gives back to the community in many ways, such as by sponsoring local Boy Scout packs and little league teams. We’re also corporate sponsors for Minot State University and Roosevelt Park Zoo, and we donate to the Domestic Violence Center here in Minot.

When we’re not working, we take time to enjoy this community has to offer. For example, Kim is chairman of the largest Scandinavian festival in the nation, the Norsk Høstfest, which draws more than 70,000 people to the Minot area each fall.
