You never want bad things to happen to good people, but when they do, it’s an amazing feeling knowing the work you do makes a difference. One customer I work with tells everyone that the two most important men in her life are her pastor and her insurance agent. I love the ability to give back to my community through my work as an Allstate agent. I appreciate that Oviedo is a small, quiet community with A-rated schools and a low crime rate. My wife, Karla, and I have lived here since 2002. Now that our four boys are grown, we’re enjoying life as empty nesters and are taking advantage of all that Oviedo has to offer.

I want to keep this community vibrant. That’s why I support a lot of smaller charities while actively volunteering in local schools and providing support for the homeless. I’m a member of the Oviedo-Winter Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce, a board member for Harbor House, a domestic violence shelter and an agent counsel for the Florida Coalition Against Domestic Violence. In my spare time, I love to play soccer, dance and travel.

People often are curious about my background. I’m originally from Jamaica. I was born on George Washington’s birthday, and my parents named me after Presidents Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy (my middle name is Fitzgerald). I became an Allstate agent in 2000, and it gives me a real sense of accomplishment to help customers as they make decisions that help protect what matters most.
