Local Allstate Agent: Meet Marcy Smith
I’ve called Colorado home since 2001, but I was born and raised in the Midwest. The Denver metro area offers lots to do – breweries and restaurants, tons of outdoor activities, sports and so much more.
I had been working on the corporate side of Allstate for 14 years before becoming an Allstate agent in 2015, and I couldn’t be happier. I’m an entrepreneur at heart, and I enjoy being able to represent Allstate while giving back to the people of this community through my work. Sometimes my work can be heartbreaking – a big part of my job is helping customers through a crisis. So I really focus on getting to know customers and creating strong connections.
Outside of work, I stay very active with my husband and our boys, ages 9 and 6. We’re a football-loving family, and my kids play many sports. I played soccer at the University of Iowa for four years and was a member of the university’s first competitive team for women. I still love watching soccer, particularly the Colorado Rapids team. I’m a workaholic, but I try to take breaks to get in a run or a Crossfit session every day.
We’re located down the street from Belmar Mall, not far from All Star Park. We give back to our community in many ways. We support Street Hope, a mentoring program that offers financial literacy courses, fights sex trafficking and helps women get back on their feet. Our staff includes three agents and a personal financial representative. Stop by and see us!
