Deeply committed to the community, my passion for the insurance industry came at an early age. I attended the University of Wyoming to obtain my Business Administration Degree while determined to return to the area and establish my business roots. I began working alongside my father, an insurance agent of 47 years, at his agency in 2003. Always an admirer of his success, I found his ability to develop strong professional relationships with the people in our area to be the most valuable lesson. It became apparent to me that the customer wants an insurance agent they know and trust. Upon my father’s retirement, I chose to continue a career utilizing the extensive experience and in-depth knowledge I had gained in the 13 years working with him. I have now been in the industry for 20 years!

I love to spend time with my family. My wife, Pamela, and I have twin girls and a son. He currently attends the University Of Wyoming! We enjoy boating with family at Lake Minatare, riding motorbikes, and serving at First Baptist Church!

I opened the Engelhaupt Agency in 2016 with the commitment to do the right thing in the right way — for the right reason. Our goal is to build long lasting relationships with customers. After graduating from Summit Christian College with a degree in Missions, Karissa stayed in the Scottsbluff/Gering area working part-time in the insurance industry for the Engelhaupt family. Upon the first week of employment, a major hail storm hit the panhandle. Her passion for helping customers and assisting them with protecting their valuables became very real.
Born and raised in the Midwest, Karissa knows the consequences of the ever changing weather. Her knowledge and understanding of the area helps provide customers with an outstanding level of service. “Daily challenges and interactions with the customers is the driving force for my passion in this business.”
When Karissa isn’t in the office, you can find her keeping busy with the love of her life… her daughter. In addition, she loves music and theater and attends most local theater productions.

Kristi grew up in Central Nebraska before her family relocated to the valley when she was in high school. She loved the small-town family feel and community support that she found in the area, so she decided to stay after graduating from Gering High School. She made lots of friends, many of which she has remained close with over the years, and have become a part of her family. She still enjoys participating in the local celebrations that this area is famous for like Oregon Trail Days and the Old West Balloon Festival. She is a supporter of small businesses, and often supports the local landmarks by taking in a movie at the Midwest Theater, staying active by walking the Pathway and admiring the local history. She raised one daughter here, and is enjoying raising her youngest daughter here as well.
She received her Business Degree from Western Nebraska Community College. She was in the mortgage industry for the past 17 years until recently deciding it was time for a change. Michael was willing to give her the opportunity to start an exciting new career in the hometown family business of insurance, and brought her on board in his agency.
When she is not working, you can find her spending time with her family, who is still in the area, or with her girls or her granddaughter. She enjoys spending time at the lake, cherished time with her friends, gardening and doing crafts.

Born and raised here in the Scottsbluff/Gering area, Angela earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Wyoming in 2004. After years of working in many aspects of the business industry on the front range of Colorado, her small-town roots called Angela home to build a business of her own, alongside her father’s influential business practices and standards. Angela’s Bridal & Boutique was created to combine her love for fashion and business into one, while providing down home, friendly customer service directly to customers. After a few a few years, she made the decision to downsize the business to the boutique and tuxedo rentals, allowing her to spend precious time with her father. During this time, she decided to act upon her father’s dream for “his children to work together in the insurance industry.” She joined the family business in the field of insurance when an opportunity presented itself for her work alongside her older brother in the Allstate Family.

Angela believes, as a local business associate, in serving her local community by participating and networking with other business individuals, while focusing on the growth of the community. With that, Angela continues to operate her small business in her free time, in conjunction with participating in the local chapter of Panhandle Business and Professional Women where she has served on the executive board in previous years. She is actively involved in her local church, where she is a part of the choral praise team, the board of education & events, along with coordinating and managing the financial expenditures for the church.

Her mission is to provide exceptional customer service while empathizing the with customers on their insurance needs and concerns by not only putting them in “good hands” but in the “right hands” for the protection and coverage that is essential in the risks of everyday life.
