I’ve been associated with San Pedro since 1997 and have continued to watch the city change, grow and develop. I love that the businesses have been around for decades serving the local communities. San Pedro is such a great city by the sea. I'm proud of the diversity, where people work together to help improve San Pedro while also assisting the less fortunate. It's a city that is growing economically. Most of all, San Pedro is a city comprised of working-class families that want to do better for the next generation.

Being active in the local community has always been important to me. We participate in food drives, toy drives for kids without resources, donating to Beacon House, as well as supporting Diabetes Walks for Life, Domestic Abuse Centers and more. There are so many important community efforts going on, and so I’m always looking for different ways to get involved.

When I'm not at the office, I love spending time with my family – my wife, Mary, daughter, Ashley, and our Yorkie, Cherry. My favorite daily activity is going to the West End ocean overlook for my lunch breaks. It provides an unrestricted view of Catalina, container ships, dolphins, occasional whales and lobster boats working their traps. I love the serenity of it all.
