Since 2009, the Michelle Bennett Agency has been working to help protect families in Jacksonville and Eastern North Carolina. Being in coastal Carolina and near a large Marine Corps base, Michelle and the staff are ready to help the local community with their auto, homeowners, renters, life and other insurance needs. The Bennett family has been representing Allstate since 1966 when Michelle's father-in-law began working at an Allstate booth in a Maryland Sears store. Over time, that agency moved to a community office where Michelle's husband, Jeff, began working with his dad after transitioning to the Marine Corps reserves. Michelle and Jeff owned the Bennett Agency, serving customers in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, for over 10 years. When they moved back to North Carolina to raise their family, they were a natural fit to take over the agency in Jacksonville from a long-time agent who was retiring. With so many years of experience in Allstate insurance and the military, the Bennett family understands the needs of the local community and provides great solutions tailored to the needs of individuals and families.

When not working, she enjoys traveling, sailing, gardening, and spending time with her 2 dogs and 3 children. Michelle graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science degree and worked in publishing before changing careers to spend more time in the family business and with her children. As an insurance agent, she finds it rewarding to help customers get their lives back to normal when the unexpected happens.
