I started representing Allstate in 1982 as a claims adjuster. Through my work, I saw the importance of learning to prepare for the unexpected. This experience led me to open my agency in two years later.

During this time, Allstate agencies were in Sears stores and I enjoyed the opportunity to interact with local families while they browsed the store. Today, my agency is at the intersection of Julian Allsbrook Highway and 10th Street in Roanoke Rapids.

I attended Virginia State University and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1975. At School I studied Political Science. Outside of the office, I enjoy attending my grandson Ayden's football games.

Roanoke Rapids is my home, and it’s been an honor to serve the area for over 30 years. With a strong sense of community, Roanoke Rapids maintains a small-town feel. The location is great too – we love spending time in historical Halifax County, boating on Lake Gaston and enjoying the beautiful nature of North Carolina. When I am not working, you can also find me spending time with my family and attending my grandson’s football games.

The best part about being an Allstate representative is meeting and helping so many different people. In some instances, I have even serviced three generations of a family. My office takes pride in taking the time to get to know customers, so we can truly understand their insurance needs.
