I am proud to be a part of a family business dedicated to helping others in the New Bern community. I am a second-generation Allstate agent; my father first opened his agency here in 1974. Later this fall, I will start my 25th year as an agency owner.

Growing up here I know a lot about eastern NC. I earned my bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 1992, and about six years later, the phone call from Dad came announcing that he had decided retirement was nearing. I had known for a long time that I wanted to take over for him, I was approved to buy the agency in 2002.

Community involvement has always been a part of my life. That is why I will always support the New Bern Area Chamber of Commerce. I am an affiliate member of the Neuse River Association of Realtors, and I am an annual sponsor of the event for RCS, Empty Bowls.

I also provide my time at building sites for Habitat for Humanity, of Craven County and take advantage of Allstate’s agents in the community grants to support them along with many other charities in Craven and surrounding counties.

My team and I strive to provide excellent customer service.
