Shelly graduated from York College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1995. Since graduating, she found herself residing in the local Elizabethtown /Mount Joy area. Shelly and her husband have built a beautiful family with 2 very active boys and a rescue dog, Daisy. In her free time, Shelly enjoys kickboxing and volunteering with the local Boys Scouts and various athletic youth clubs..
The Allstate Foundation offers Helping Hands Grants to agency owners by financially supporting the causes and organizations agencies care about. Shelly is proud to be an Allstate agent that gives back to her community through dedication in volunteering and donating. Recently, she has also participated in a group grant, along with 5 other Allstate agents, for the nonprofit Buddy Hugs, Inc. Her portion of the grant went towards the Ronald McDonald House in Hershey, which gives a “buddy” plush animal to every sick child at the Hershey Medical Center. Additionally, Shelly is a part of Aaron’s Acres Dream Makers, which helps kids with special needs be able to attend camp, regardless of their financial situation. Every summer, Shelly devotes time to volunteer at Aaron’s Acres summer camp.
