Building strong relationships with those in the Jackson community is my favorite part of being an Allstate agency owner. Our neighbors in Jackson continually bring out the best in each other. I am proud to be part of that effort by supporting some of the city’s organizations and schools, including the Mississippi Spay and Neuter Clinic, also known as the Big Fix Clinic. My agency team and I are passionate about helping pets, local businesses and people.

I have been in the insurance industry since 1992 and opened my first Allstate agency in 2009. Early on in my career, I purchased funeral homes and opened insurance agencies inside them. Working in the funeral business taught me the incredible value of life insurance, which my Allstate agency is proud to offer.

When the weather permits, I like to spend time golfing, traveling or doing outdoor activities with my family. My true passion in life, besides being a good dad, is representing Allstate and helping my community.

With more than four decades of experience, Mike Curtis has dedicated his life to helping others prepare for their financial futures. Mike entered the insurance and annuity industry in 1973, starting out primarily in the health insurance market. He later passed his financial exams and now holds his Series 6, 7 and 63 registrations as well as his life, health and additional insurance licenses in Mississippi, Louisiana and Oklahoma. Mike’s business philosophy is to always put customers goals first, and he has gained much recognition and respect from customers and colleagues alike because of it.

Mike is a registered Chartered Financial Consultant, which he earned through The American College. While his main area of focus is in retirement, Mike is happy to discuss life insurance, college savings plans and long term care solutions as well. He is proud to serve all of central Mississippi (Byram, Jackson, Ridgeland, Madison, etc.), as well as Louisiana and Oklahoma.

Mike lives in Liberty, Mississippi with his wife, Kim. They have three children and five grandchildren. When Mike isn’t busy spending time with his family, he enjoys his regular hobbies of archery and hunting.
