Also, the Drivewise app seems archaic. It is too cumbersome to go into app and delete trips that are calculated when I am not driving.

Drivewise is a terrible implementation of behavior tracking. It's comically inconvenient to have to constantly remember to deactivate it ahead of passenger trips, or to remember to log in and tag passenger trips after the fact.
Also, this may be a wider problem with all car insurance companies, but my Fiat Spider is suddenly much more expensive to insure. When it was new, it was the cheapest car to insure amongst my family. Now suddenly I am told it's a high-risk sports car???
