I feel like I had to do all the work to manage the claim. I felt like I was often in the dark about where we were in the process and what the next steps were. I always had to call the national number and work my way through the phone tree when I needed help. My local agency through which I hold my policy never contacted me or communicated with me, and never reached out to assist. I am not sure what the purpose of the "local agent" is since they were not involved in this process at all. Strongly considering leaving Allstate over this.
