The agency opened its doors in 1968 with my father, Clyde Sloan, manning the desk under the escalators in the Sears store in Memorial City. Upon his retirement in 2000 I took over the office, and in 2018 we proudly celebrated our 50th year serving Houston and surrounding communities. My office is agent driven, meaning I am personally available to talk to you about your coverages.

Being active in the community has always been important to me. I volunteer and support many local organizations, including Spring Branch Education Foundation, Keep Houston Beautiful Commission, Saint Christopher's Episcopal Day School Board, Houston Sigma Chi Alumni Chapter, Hunters Creek Elementary Dads Club, Houston West Chamber of Commerce and I am a Committeeman at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

When I am not working, I enjoy staying active. Some of my hobbies and interests include traveling, attending sporting events, running and scuba diving. Family time is very important to me. I have three kids -- Alex, Megan and James – and attending their sporting events is a highlight of my week. We also have a goldendoodle, Hunter.

Having grown up in the Allstate family, it was wonderful to see how my father helped in the community and I want to continue that tradition. Stop by the office or give me a call – I would love talking to you!
