The representatives were polite and informative.

I was surprised after canceling my policy 10 days later to see my credit card was charged. The good news it was corrected immediately after calling a representative. The sad news is it might still show up on my credit card and the refund won't show up until my next credit card statement. This mishap should have never happened.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear that our team was polite and informative and that the issue was corrected quickly once you brought it to our attention.

We certainly understand how frustrating it can be to see a charge appear after a policy has been cancelled. In many cases, billing transactions are already in process with the card provider when the cancellation occurs, which can cause a charge to appear before the refund is issued. While we worked to resolve it as quickly as possible on our end, the timing of when both transactions appear can depend on the credit card company’s processing cycle.

We appreciate you bringing it to our attention and are glad we were able to correct it right away. If there is anything further we can assist with, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our office.

Very little interaction with Allstate after signing a bundled home/auto contract last June. I did however receive a letter from Allstate indicating that my homeowner policy would not be renewed unless certain actions were taken, I assume to mitigate fire danger, however, no specific actions were mentioned in the letter. Guess I need to "track this down" to find out what the issue is...

Our office did reach out to review the notice and help you with the failed inspection report so we could go over the specific wildfire mitigation items that underwriting was requesting.

Doing business with your agency was great. I was not happy with Allstate cancelling my policy without offering a chance to address the fire mitigation issue. I was thankful you were able to intercede for me, affording the chance to correct the issues. I hope they have reviewed their procedures for inspecting and denying a new accounts policy.
