I was born in Charlotte, NC and lived in Waxhaw, NC through high school, then attended and graduated from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC where I met my wife, Amy. I have called Charlotte home since 1997. The Charlotte area has so much to offer, and I cannot imagine living anywhere else. When I am not in the office, I enjoy spending time with family, the experiences of traveling, and playing a great round of golf.

My career has been focused in the financial services industry with roles in consumer lending, mortgage, and insurance, including auto insurance, home insurance, boat insurance, landlord insurance, motorcycle insurance, property and casualty insurance, and personal liability umbrella insurance as well as life insurance. Having previously served as a corporate risk executive, I assisted businesses in identification, mitigation, and control for risks. Now I am bringing that same approach and care for customers to our agency by providing both customers and prospective customers a complimentary protection review across a wide variety of coverage and services.

Helping people is the key purpose for my agency and my staff. He has been the official scorer for the Charlotte 49ers college basketball team for the past two decades.

Marty is married to the love of his life, Nataliya, who is from Ukraine, and the couple have two adult daughters--Tatiana and Dara. The Rasnake family loves children and serve them in two local churches-Grace Covenant in Cornelius and Fathers House (Slavic) church in Matthews.
