Local Allstate Agent: Meet Clay Stringer
I've always had a passion for helping others pursue their goals, which is why I began working in insurance and financial services in 2013 after many successful years in education. When interacting with customers, I enjoy drawing upon my well-rounded background with experience as a teacher, coach, principal and school administrator.
I enjoy getting to know local families and business owners, learning about what's important to them and helping them find the right insurance coverage to fit their needs. I began representing Allstate in 2017 as a Personal Financial Representative, which allowed me to serve customers at several Allstate agencies across northern Mississippi and Arkansas. In 2019 I was presented with the opportunity to become an Agency Owner, and I'm excited to have a positive effect on the community through my agency.
My family and I have lived in several cities across Mississippi, and Greenville has certainly been one of our favorites. We've lived in this area since 2009 and love being just a few miles away from our agency. My wife, Kathy, and I have three children, Mitchell, Maddie and Mary, as well as a spoiled Yorkie named Bella. My children participate in various sports and activities, and I enjoy attending their games whenever possible. As a family, we love being involved in ministry and fellowship at The Way Church. I’ve been proud to serve as a mentor to youth and young adults in the community through coaching sports and leading mission trips. One of my most memorable experiences was when I led a group of students and adults on a mission trip to China without being able to speak Chinese.
When I'm not serving customers at my agency or spending time with family, a few of my other hobbies include golfing, traveling and dining at local restaurants. I also love driving up to the levee and looking out over the Mississippi River. I’m fascinated by the way our local agriculture affects the world. This area has often been referred to as the "Heart and Soul of the Delta," with a rich history of literature, blues artists and musicians. Because of my love for this community, I enjoy being a member of organizations like the Washington County Economic Alliance and Rotary Club of Greenville, which allow me to stay connected to local businesses.
