I am originally from Ohio, and that is where my insurance career started when I was licensed in 2007. After working for both independent agencies and offices representing large captive books, I struck out on my own and built my first agency from scratch in 2011. Four years and more than 1,000 households later, I sold that book of business to move to Tennessee to be with my husband. Our blended family of seven children—then early-to-mid teens in age—provided a great deal of activity, but I also found time to build a second “scratch” agency in Tennessee. Three years later, I settled into a consulting role for an independent agency. I love what I do! I have always taken the approach that I am more about informing the consumer than about selling products. I am a mother, through and through, so I want to help see you are making informed decisions that will serve you well for the long term!
