Even with the industry that has grown up that has many folks shopping yearly for cheaper rates. The services and relationship with the agent/s has always been the reason we stayed with Allstate - even with all the moves my late husband and I made all over the country.
But now I found after my husband passed away and my moving to a new area - I cannot even get a call back on my inquiries for information regarding my policies. What do people do when they have to make a claim? That is something we did not pursue most of the time. But there is no relationship building, of course very few "offices", and just a notice for billing. I am definitely shopping around - in spite of the long wonderful relationship with Alltate in the past.
