The Boyd Agency has over 40 years of combined insurance experience. We’ve been helping provide insurance to families, individuals, and businesses in the New York area since 2007.

Born and raised in Hollis Queens, New York. I love working in this corner of the city and I want to positively impact the lives of people in this wonderful community, so I take great pleasure from the work I do in my local church and from Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

I graduated from St. Johns University with a BS in Marketing and have now over 30+ years of experience in the insurance industry, which is always effective when helping customers on their insurance needs. In the agency, I take great joy explaining to people how to best secure their assets.

When I’m out of the office, I really enjoy cheering for my New York Giants, Knicks, and Yankees. I also love spending time traveling with my family or just going out for my favorite pizza and pasta!

Your prices keep going up even though I’ve been a safe driver and have had no claims . Started to look elsewhere and have got a much better price for the same coverage. Same with my homeowners insurance.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m sorry to hear that you’re concerned about the recent rate increase. We understand how important it is to manage costs and want to assure you that this decision wasn’t made lightly. There is an industry wide rise in claims resulting in increased rates in New York State and across the country as a result of rising costs in auto parts, medical costs from injuries, legal costs...etc. Allstate must apply with the Department of Financial Services to obtain rate change approvals. The Department of Financial Services will approve rate adjustments if the carrier has substanciated it's reason for the request.

The rate adjustment is a necessary step to continue providing the high-quality service and support that Allstate customers expect. Allstate strives to balance fair pricing with the costs of delivering comprehensive coverage. I understand you haven't had a claim, however customers who have claims impact everyone financially.

If you have any questions or need assistance in reviewing your current policy to ensure it meets your needs, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly. We’re here to help and want to ensure you’re getting the most value out of your coverage.

Yvonne, I am sorry you did not receive the refund
Yvonne, I am sorry you did not receive the refund check sent out to you by Allstate. As we discussed, the check was issued the next day by Allstate after you supplied us with the information the home was sold. The check should have been received within a week of mailing from Allstate. In the future, please contact my office directly to resolve these types of issues. We had no way of knowing the check was not delivered by the post office unless we are contacted by you.

We contacted Allstate to place a stop payment on the check and will have it reissued. I hope this resolves this matter to your complete satisfaction.

Only one request we want to make that to reduce overall insurance amount because of older age! We are 77+ & 70+ now. We do & would appreciate Allstate for ail the time to come.
