I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area. With Stanford University and the downtown area nearby, it’s been a great place to raise our family. Together with my wife Debbie, we’ve watched our four children grow up here and are now proud grandparents to seven grandchildren! I guess my years as an insurance agent really rubbed off because our three of my sons are also in insurance.

In addition to being a husband, father and grandfather, I was a wrestling coach at Junipero Serra High School in San Mateo for 7 years. I loved mentoring kids and cherished the years that I had with them. During my time there we experienced the loss of a student who passed away from colon cancer. Since then I became a big supporter of the Strides for Life Colon Cancer Foundation. Every year my agency participates in the 4-mile run/walk at Lake Merced in San Francisco by supplying the goodie bags for participants. Hopefully our contributions bring awareness to the disease and help save lives.

I became an Allstate agent in 1979 because I enjoy interacting with people and solving problems. It’s very rewarding to help so many local families with their future and also help in times of need.
