My whole life has been spent in Georgia. I grew up in Augusta and moved to Atlanta in 1989 to study at Morehouse College. In 2008, I returned to work as a sales professional at my father’s agency. When I got back, it felt like nothing had changed and I was able to rekindle many former friendships.

This community is my home, and I try to stay involved as much as I can. I support Leadership Augusta, Project Impact, The Center for Arts & Heritage of North Augusta, Historic Augusta Inc., Historic North Augusta and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. For the last 11 years, my agency has helped host the Father-Daughter Gala to support local nonprofits. I’m a member of the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce, serve on the City of Augusta Planning Commissioners Board and served on the Leadership Augusta Board of Directors.

Working with Dad in his agency inspired me to become an agent. I feel like it’s in our blood to assist people in our community while helping them learn how to protect their loved ones. After working as an Allstate representative for 37 years, Dad retired in 2014. I bought his agency with the goal of carrying on his legacy of providing world-class customer service to the Augusta area. In 2018, I opened my second office in Grovetown.

I have a caring and knowledgeable team that is passionate about helping local families learn to prepare for the unexpected. I reached out to the office regarding the cost of renewing my auto policy; as the phone was not answered, I left a message regarding my concern requesting a call back. After more than a week with no call back and knowing that I had a lower quote from a reputable company and I contacted the agency via email letting them know that after more than 30 years with Allstate, I would not be renewing my policy. What I received was an email message that stated the office was always open and available to help; a telephone call was never made and the response made me feel like it was my fault that contact was not made.
In addition, regarding the policy, the cost has been increasing for no apparent reason. I have had no tickets, accidents or negative incidents that would justify increases! I am very disappointed!
