Cost of policies and coverages are far and away higher than other carriers after an apples-to-apples comparison. Shopping my insurance needs now. The Mobile App is horrible. Will not retain a simple password and has to be changed at every login. Also, the drive wise devices are draining the battery in my two vehicles and requires me to jump start them or to attach a trickle charger since the vehicles are not often driven. Something has changed with those devices, since that never used to happen, and it has to be the devices causing the problem since the issue with draining the battery is the same on both vehicles enrolled in that program. I suspect Allstate hopes I ask to come off that program since it is saving us a small amount on our premium expense. When I call the agency, I never get a person at first call. When Fred Hazeltine was my agent, I got a response almost always.
