I grew up in Charleston, SC and my wife and I cannot imagine living anywhere else. Our community is such a wonderful place to raise a family, and its warm climate allows us to stay active outdoors year-round. I have also been lucky to see firsthand how much the area has grown and become more diverse over the years.

I know and love life here, and it’s important for me to give back to the community that I care so much about, and I’m thankful that Allstate supports and encourages my efforts. I’m an active volunteer in teaching children to read through the Rotary Reader Program, and because Charleston is surrounded by water, I volunteer through the Josh the Otter program, which educates kids on the importance of water safety. I have also sponsored events with My Sisters House, an emergency shelter and job support organization, which helps under-served women and children impacted by domestic violence.

I’m in the insurance industry because I love working with and helping people, and I believe treating people courteously and honestly is the only way to do business. In 2008, I started my career at Allstate where I help families and individuals protect their assets as well as prepare them for retirement. The most enjoyable and rewarding part of my job is helping customers understand how insurance can help them protect the things they find most important in their lives and maintain assets they have worked so hard to accumulate.

When I am not working, I am spending time with my wife and two children. Being a father and husband has been my greatest accomplishment and has allowed me to better understand concerns of customers. I am also a board member of a local Exchange Club where I have served as President. The Exchange Club is a national organization that works to improve local communities through service, and they have done an incredible amount of good for our Charleston Community. Being part of such a great organization has given me an opportunity to give back to this community that has meant so much to me.

I am from Long Island NY and moved to Charleston about two years ago. I received a BS is Psychology in 2012. After College I started my career working for a loan company selling business loans to business owners to help them grow and expand. After doing that for a few years I transitioned to the mortgages industry for several years. I knew when I moved here, I would choose a new career path similar to my other professions. I choose the insurance industry because it is stable, rewarding and there is always something to learn every day. When not working I enjoy spending time with my puppy Chance. He has recently recovered from surgery where he had 11 screws and a plate put into his leg. He is doing great and made a full recovery.
