Though I grew up in the small town of Cottonwood, California, I’m proud to call Austin my home. I love this area’s small-town feel that merges with the attractions and culture of a big city.

I enjoy having a positive effect on the Buda community as an agency owner. I’m a former board member and current member of the Young Men’s Business League and Austin Sunshine Camps. I support ASC’s mission of providing summer camp and after-school programs to low-income youth in the Austin area. My agency also supports the Texas Advocacy Project which offers free legal services and access to the justice system for people who are affected by domestic violence.

I moved here after teaching English in Argentina and am fluent in Spanish. My family and I live around the corner from Mary Moore Searight Metropolitan park, which offers a great walking path to take our dog on weekends. My wife, Erin, and our daughter, Dolores Jane, love hiking around Stephenson Nature Preserve. We’re proud to be part of the growth in South Austin, a hotbed for new development.
