I have been in the insurance industry for 14 years, but have been part of the Central community for about 30 years. I worked for my father and just recently took over his Central agency. I love our small-town community feel, where everyone wants to help one another succeed in their endeavors. I love that people still want to drive around and sit with us in person to chat about their coverage and ask questions. Speaking of small-town feel, we have many customers who walk through our doors, whose lives have touched mine before in some way; whether I went to school with them, their kids or their parents.

Central is very close to LSU so of course I love our Tigers. I even got the privilege to dance for LSU on the Golden Girl dance team. Central has grown in the last few years. We have several parks and sports teams around town, so lots to do and watch.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband Damon, our children, Wes, Mac and Leo, as well as our dogs, Luke and Mako! I love my neighborhood and hanging out with my family and friends for game nights. We also enjoy volunteering for different non-profits. I love to dance, play tennis and watch my kids play their sports of choice (which changes with the seasons). We also love to travel and go on adventures with our kids.

We are involved in our community and are a long-time member of the Chamber of Commerce. I attend the Balanced Women Bible Study group and sponsor local Little League teams. We also regularly donate to St. Jude’s, St. Alphonsus, St. Aloysius and sponsor a child through Compassion. We also just finished our second year of volunteering at Fishin’ Galore with the Dream Day Foundation.

I am an Allstate agent because I love helping to learn about people and to do that you need to have a knowledge that’s not frequently taught. I’ve been in an Allstate Insurance family for 30 years, so you could say that’s my thing. When a customer comes in to purchase or talk about their policies, I slow the conversation down a bit to help see they understand what their coverages actually mean.
