In the 1990s I was hit by an uninsured driver, and I was not properly protected. It was financially devastating. I became an Allstate agency owner because I want to help others avoid the same situation.



I love helping people and being able to give back to my community. Over the years, I have served as the board chair of Red Cross serving East Texas, covering 11 counties, chaired of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) East Texas, which supports victims of drunk driving, chaired the R.E.A.C.H. Team for our Longview Chamber of Commerce, which helps welcome and provide resources to new and expanding businesses. I also serve on the leadership team for 100 Women Who Care of Longview and volunteer for East Texas Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). I help sponsor community events along with other business owners to help improve our local quality of life.



In my spare time, you will find me on the beautiful walking and biking trails, listening to live music at our local parks, reading a book, enjoying an art exhibit opening at our museum, watching a local play or gardening. I have two wonderful rescue dogs that I affectionately refer to as my furry children, Sophie and Bella. I adopted them from the Longview Animal Care & Adoption Center.
