To me, Burleson is a great community. The city is also growing with plenty of opportunities. People in Burleson support the local high schools’ sports teams, and there’s a wonderful sense of community here, too. Burleson is near Fort Worth, which offers a number of entertainment options for the entire family to enjoy. Sports fans can enjoy watching Texas Rangers, the Mavericks or the Cowboys in Dallas, as well. I’m a proud Aggie, having graduated from Texas A&M University in 1985, and continue to support the team today.

My commitment to Burleson goes beyond my agency -- I am also involved in the local community, and I think it’s important to be active in organizations in the area. For instance, I provide the Mark Jameson Allstate Scholar Athlete of the Month scholarship during the school year for student athletes attending Burleson High School and Burleson Centennial High School. I have also received the Ray Lynch Community Service Award for the Texas region in recognition of my work in the community.
