The experience was not very satisfactory. I was initially quoted a very reasonable rate for house and car insurances. After i agreed to the terms provided and was ready to pay the premiums, the rate nearly doubled. The explanation that the agent provided was that my first name was spelled incorrectly, thereby assigning me a lower insurance score. No material facts had changed to account for that change. Clearly this was a classic nsit and switch exercise.
