I started working for my father's insurance agency, right here in Waxahachie, when I was in college. I've been licensed since 2003 and decided to open my own agency in 2007. I'm a fourth-generation Ellis County resident, which is one of the many reasons I chose to open my agency here. I grew up in Waxahachie and want my boys to grow up where my grandfather, father and I were raised.
One thing I love (and hate) about our area is that it's growing quickly! I miss the days of no medians down 77!
My family is the most precious gift I have ever been given. My husband, JJ, works at the agency with me, and we have three boys – our nephew, Nathan, and our sons, Cannon and Kayson – a daughter-n-love and two of the most perfect little granddaughters, and our fur baby, Archie.
In my spare time, you will most likely find me sitting in a bag chair watching my boys play baseball. If there is ever an off weekend I am probably catching up on laundry and dreaming of being at the beach or decorating my dream beach house or eating Mexican food.
We're a big baseball family and consider talking sports our second language. JJ and I were married at the ballpark in Arlington (Go Rangers!), so stop by the office and we'll be happy to talk about your favorite teams and their current standings.
My favorite thing about being an Allstate agent is building relationships with customers. I love learning about a customer's career, their favorite book or where they have traveled or are traveling to next.
