Working in the insurance industry and owning an agency is in my blood. I’m proud to follow in my father’s footsteps and become an Allstate representative like he was for more than five decades. His compassion toward people and customers was contagious. He taught me to put myself in other people’s shoes and understand their story. After seeing how agencies positively affected communities, I couldn’t wait to get involved. Serving Mount Pleasant and the surrounding communities is dear to my heart, as I grew up in Charleston.

After working at my father’s agency following graduation from Clemson University in 1992, it was a no-brainer to open an agency here in 1997. Being part of this wonderful community and building local relationships is one of the best parts of my job. Outside of work, I like playing with my two Boykin spaniel dogs, spending time on the Charleston Harbor, hiking and practicing photography.

Giving back to the community is important to me. I volunteer with Lowcountry SC American Red Cross, Mount Pleasant - South Carolina Youth Soccer and the Alliance for Full Acceptance. I proudly support the Clemson University Foundation and Friends of Charles Towne Landing, which celebrates the birthplace of South Carolina. Being heavily involved in the community brings me great joy, and I make time to be involved at Grace Church Cathedral every chance I get.
