Originally from Kansas City, my family and I made the move here for the outstanding schools, and we’re proud to call High Pointe home. I began my career in insurance in 2003 and later opened my agency in historic Old Town Sherwood, right on the corner of 3rd and Pine. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of serving as an ambassador, board member, and President of the Sherwood Chamber of Commerce during the height of COVID. In 2022, I was honored to receive both Business Leader of the Year and Small Business of the Year alongside my incredible team. I’ve also been recognized by Allstate with awards such as Honor Ring, Circle of Champions, and others that reflect our commitment to excellence. Giving back to our community is something I care deeply about. I’m proud to support Washington County through involvement in local events like the Cruisin’ Sherwood Classic & Custom Car Show, as well as organizations such as the American Legion, local schools, and city initiatives. Thank you for asking. Rebecca and her team in the office are friendly and generally helpful when I have had to make the rare call for administrative purposes. I can not say the same for Allstate as a company. I made a claim and was hit with misinformation, road blocks, waiting, canceled claim, restarted claim, and more waiting. I ultimately canceled the claim my self out of frustration. I made the calls, got the inspection done, got the quote, made the appointments, and paid for the repairs myself. All things that Allstate is paid to do, but was unable to do. I don't tolerate such ineffectiveness any where else, and certainly wont be paying for it from Allstate. Therefore, I decided that i will not be renewing with your company again.

Hello John, Thank you for your input on this claim. I have communicated verbatim to a claims Manager what you have experienced, and she states she has already left you a message. This is not ok plain and simple, and Claims stated they are ready to make this right and do retraining on the claims side. I've never actually met Rebecca Fairbanks. But I have spoken with the associates that work with/for her, and I've been with them for years. The rates seem to go up every year, but the last time I checked, no more than the cost of living. I have both Home Owner's Insurance as well as Auto Insurance, but fortunately never needed to make a claim on either one of them.
