I volunteered for Heart of Texas Christian Women's Job Corps and earned an Allstate Foundation Helping Hands grant of $500.

I’m Shane Oliver and I have an Allstate agency here in Brownwood. Actually, I’ve got a lot more than just an agency here. I was born and raised in this community. In my youth I attended Brownwood High School and have been an insurance agent in the area since 1999. My wife and I are raising two daughters and we’ve got four dogs so there’s always something interesting going on at our house. In my spare time I like to go boating, camping, hunting, fishing, and spend some time at Lake Brownwood. I’m also a fan of the local football teams so you might catch me at an Early Longhorns game or cheering on our Brownwood Lions. I love serving the area that I call home. It’s a great place to live and raise a family.

As you can see, I enjoy being out in the community. We participate in the Trick or Treat event put on by the Brownwood Chamber of Commerce. I’m also involved in the Kiwanis of Brownwood and love attending our annual Kiwanis Pancake Supper. We also support the Center for Life Resources 5k run as well as donate to a few other local charities. I love getting out to talk with people and giving back to my community.

Right out of college I started my own business and have always worked for myself. I’ve put in the hard work and gained a deep knowledge of insurance and our area, so I know what’s important to remember when making decisions about insurance coverage. Frequent hail and flash floods are some things you’ll want to be protected from. Being in a rural area, we’ve got animals all over the place and you’ll want your car protected from things nature can throw its way.
