Steve Moore was born in Goldsboro, NC on July 9th 1960. He’s a huge fan of the outdoors and in 1976 he earned the rank of Eagle Scout. In 1978 Steve graduated from Rosewood High School. Afterwards, he went on to attend Atlantic Christian College in the summer of 1978 earning a B.S. Degree in Business Administration and a minor in accounting. During his college stay at ACC he joined the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity and received the Committee Chairman of the Year Award and the Man of the Year Award the next year.
In 1996, Steve joined an insurance agency as an office manager. Since then he has become a well-recognized agent who has earned numerous awards, which include the Honor Ring, National Conference, Chairman Conference, and Southeast Region Star awards. The agency has grown to multiple locations in the cities of Pinehurst, Goldsboro, Cary and Boone.
Steve is married to his loving wife, Sara Edwards Moore from Princeton, NC. They have two children (Rachel and Aaron) who both graduated from University of North Carolina. During his free time Steve likes to golf, fish, camp and play pool.
