I was born and raised in the Durham/Middlefield CT area, which is about 30 minutes from my Derby, CT office and about 15 minutes from my Rocky Hill office. I graduated from High School in 1998 from Coginchaug Regional High School in Durham, CT and then graduated from the University of Connecticut Business School in 2002. Prior to starting my journey representing Allstate I spent time in the Mortgage and Automotive industries. I purchased all three of my existing agencies from long time agents. I purchased the Derby, CT agency in 2012, the Rocky Hill agency in 2016 and finally Wallingford in 2019. All of these agencies had long term relationships with great Allstate customers that I was excited to expand on and grow with.
Being an Allstate Agent runs in the family. My cousin in Michigan is a 20-year Allstate agent who got me into this roll. He has been my mentor since and has really helped me to create an amazing business. I love being able to make a living by both helping customers and bringing new staff onboard that may take the same path I did some day to become entrepreneur or agency managers with me.
From our Senior Sales members to our newest receptionist, everyone in my agency has a specialty. Mae, our senior customer service rep in Derby has been with this agency since 1991. Kathy, our office manager, has been with the agency since 1998 and is bi-lingual so she has a great relationship with our Polish community. When I am not at the office I enjoy spending time with my wife Lindsey and my two daughters Ava and Leah. I also enjoy playing golf, watching my alma mater, the Uconn Huskies (University of Connecticut), and watching my daughters perform in the arts or softball and soccer for our town teams.
