This agency has had a deep connection to the community since opening in 1988. My uncle, Bob Rundell, took ownership in 2003 and I joined the agency in 2007. When my uncle retired in 2013, I knew I wanted to purchase the agency. My understanding of the community and established relationships with customers meant I was the best person to carry on the legacy of great customer service.

My professional career began when I enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1999. I was on active duty from 2000-04. During this time, I was stationed in Japan during 9/11 before being moved to Kansas City and meeting my future wife, Jannah. Jannah and I moved to Canon City to be close to family in the fall of 2007.

Canon City has been a great place to raise my three children. My family and I love spending quality time together exploring many fun activities and local restaurants in this area. A few of my other hobbies include playing the bass guitar, fishing, camping, hunting and sports. I play softball in a local league and have sponsored many youth teams over the years.

At my office, we pride ourselves on treating each customer like family. My team is passionate about providing great service and offering individualized solutions for families and businesses. He and his family are very involved in the community with the support of the Canon City Rotary Club, Canon City Elks, and Canon City Marine Corps League.

After many years of support behind the scenes, Jannah got her insurance license and joined the office in February of 2019. Jannah, a Kansas City native, is the mother of three beautiful children and has been very active with our local schools and is a past president of PTO at Washington School. She has also been very instrumental in getting new playground equipment for the school and is on the planning and design committee for the new school. If Jannah has any spare time, she enjoys family activities, movies and has also started learning how to play the piano.
