I was given incorrect information when I purchased home owners insurance. I was advised that my wind and hail deductibl
I was given incorrect information when I purchased home owners insurance. I was advised that my wind and hail deductible would cover wind and hail damage. I was advised by Taylor at Tyler's office that if there was damage caused by hail that my insurance would cover repairs minus the deductible. Once I had a claim for hail damage, I was advised that my metal roof only obtained cosmetic damage wherefor there is no coverage. I previously left my old insurance company due to them telling me that cosmetic damage was not covered. I went with Tyler's locations (Allstate) because I was advised that hail damage in general was covered. I was referenced to Tyler's location by my father who was also told by Taylor that hail damage in general was covered. I feel I was provided wrong information which caused unforeseen loss to my home which I was advised would be covered. I would not reference Tyler's location to anyone
